Pflicht und Kür*

Retrospective exhibition projects can really not be missed this year. Outside / Inside, Attempt of a Self-Portrayal, so or similar was the title of my diploma thesis at the Leipzig HGB in 1982. In my youthful hubris, I had filled an opulent spatial installation mainly with self-portraits.

A quotation of this work will be shown from November 25 in the exhibition Pflicht und Kür in the HGB Gallery. The material input at that time of about 100 square meters of the finest baryta photo paper is not repeatable in times of crisis. So the quote has to remain fragmentary, which might be good for it...
