Winter Journey

Bochum Langendreer 2009

In the winter of 2005 I accompanied Kai-Olaf Hesse on a journey to the last battlefields of World War II. A trip to the traces of horror, which inevitably influenced my view of German everyday life. The series Winterreise, which was created in the following years, has its starting point here.
